Apply for e-Visa online
Go to the official Indian e-Visa website (indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa). Fill in your details, upload a passport photo and passport scan, and pay the fee. Processing takes 3–5 business days in most cases.

Receive and print your e-Visa
Once approved, you'll get an email with your e-Visa. Print a copy and also save a PDF on your phone. You'll need to show it at check-in and at Indian immigration.

Arrive at an Indian airport
e-Visa holders can enter through 30 designated airports, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, and Hyderabad. At immigration, join the 'e-Visa' queue. Have your passport, e-Visa printout, and return ticket ready.

Get your passport stamped
The immigration officer will check your documents, take fingerprints, and stamp your passport. You'll be allowed to stay for up to 30 days (or 60 days for tourist e-Visa). The stamp shows your entry date and allowed stay.
