Cash is king at the visa counter
Card machines sometimes go down. Bring at least $30-50 USD in cash (or equivalent in EUR/GBP/NPR) to pay the visa fee. You don't want to be stuck in a queue with no way to pay.
Visa validity starts on arrival
The 15, 30, or 90-day clock starts ticking the day you land. Not the day you apply. So if you arrive on the 1st and get a 15-day visa, you must leave by the 15th.
