Passport validity counts from entry date
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the day you arrive in Armenia, not from your application date. Double-check before you apply.

What happens at the border

Apply for eVisa online
Go to evisa.mfa.am, fill in your personal and passport details, upload a passport photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee (around $40 USD) by card. You'll receive the eVisa by email within 3 working days.

Print or save your eVisa
Print a paper copy of the eVisa approval email, and also save a PDF on your phone. Border officials may ask to see it before you board your flight.

Arrive at Yerevan airport or land border
At Zvartnots International Airport (Yerevan) or any land border crossing, join the 'Foreign Passports' queue. Hand over your passport, printed eVisa, and return ticket if asked. You'll get an entry stamp valid for up to 120 days.

Exit Armenia before eVisa expiry
Your eVisa is valid for a single entry. Leave Armenia before the expiry date shown on your eVisa. Overstaying can result in fines or a ban.
