RequirementDetailsStatus
Tourist eVisa application
Apply online before travel

Valid passport
Must be valid for entire stay
Your Czech passport must be valid for the full duration of your stay in Saudi Arabia. No minimum validity beyond your departure date is required by Saudi immigration, but airlines may enforce a 6-month rule — check with your carrier.Required
Return or onward ticket
Required for entry
Immigration officers at Saudi airports routinely ask for a confirmed return or onward ticket. Have a printed or digital copy ready — they check this before stamping your passport.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or host invitation
Carry a printed hotel confirmation or a letter of invitation from your Saudi host. Immigration may ask for it, especially if you're arriving without a pre-booked itinerary.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show sufficient cash or card
Have access to at least $1,000 USD or equivalent in Saudi Riyals — either in cash, a credit card, or a bank statement. Officers rarely ask, but it's a formal requirement for tourist entry.Recommended
Visa on arrival is for tourism only
This visa is for tourism, business meetings, or visiting family. If you plan to work, study, or perform Hajj/Umrah, you need a different visa type obtained before travel.
Cash is king at some counters
While most counters accept credit cards, some smaller airports may only take cash. Carry at least 500 SAR in cash to avoid issues.

What happens at the border

1
Arrive at the airport
After landing at any Saudi international airport (Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, etc.), follow signs to 'Arrivals' and then 'Visa on Arrival' counters. These are usually near the immigration hall.
2
Queue at the visa-on-arrival counter
Join the queue at the dedicated visa-on-arrival counter. Have your passport, return ticket (screenshot or print), and hotel booking ready. The officer will process your application and take your photo.
3
Pay the fee
Pay the visa fee (approx. 480 SAR) in cash (Saudi Riyals) or by credit card. Keep the receipt — you may need it for the exit stamp.
4
Receive your visa sticker
The officer will place a visa sticker in your passport. Check that your name, passport number, and validity dates are correct before leaving the counter.
5
Proceed to immigration
Walk to the immigration officer, present your passport with the visa sticker, and get your entry stamp. You're now cleared to enter Saudi Arabia.
