Apply online at evisa.gov.ge before you travel. The eVisa is a single-entry permit valid for up to 30 days. Processing takes 5–7 working days, so apply at least two weeks before your flight.Apply for eVisaRequired
Valid passport
Must cover your entire stay
Your passport must be valid for the duration of your stay in Georgia. No minimum validity beyond departure is required by Georgian law, but airlines may enforce a 6-month rule — check with your carrier.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of onward travel
Immigration officers at Tbilisi and Kutaisi airports routinely ask for a return or onward ticket. Have a printed or digital copy ready showing you leave Georgia within your eVisa's validity.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or host invitation
Carry a hotel confirmation or a letter from your host with their address and contact details. Officers rarely ask for it, but having it avoids delays.Recommended
Proof of funds
Bank statement or cash
Show you have at least 200 GEL (~$75) per day of your stay. A bank statement from the last month or a credit card with available limit works fine.Recommended
eVisa is the only option
There is no visa on arrival for Egyptian passport holders. You must apply and receive approval before you travel. Plan ahead.
Passport validity counts from entry date
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the day you enter Georgia, not from the day you apply. Double-check before you book anything.
