United Kingdom entry requirements for Kenya passport holders
Kenyan passport holders need a visa to enter the United Kingdom. You must apply for a Standard Visitor visa before you travel, as there is no visa-on-arrival or eVisa option for Kenyan nationals. Plan ahead and apply at the UK embassy or visa application centre in Kenya.

Transiting through United Kingdom
Kenyan nationals require a Visitor in Transit visa to pass through UK border control, even if staying airside. However, if you are transiting through a UK airport and do not pass through border control (i.e., you remain airside), you may be exempt under the 'Transit Without Visa' concession if you hold a valid visa for Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the USA, or a Schengen country, and your onward flight departs the same day.
- Holders of a valid visa for Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the USA, or a Schengen country (with a confirmed onward ticket and same-day departure) may transit airside without a visa.
- Holders of a valid UK, EU, EEA, or Swiss residence permit or visa may transit without a visa.
- Diplomatic or official passport holders may be exempt under specific agreements.
