Go to https://eta.gov.lk/ and fill out the application. You'll need your passport details, travel dates, and a valid email address. Pay the fee with a credit or debit card. You'll get a confirmation email — keep it.

Most ETAs are approved within 24 hours, but it can take up to 2 business days. Check your email (including spam) for the approval. Print a copy or save it on your phone.

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB)
When you land in Colombo, head to the immigration counters. Have your passport, ETA approval, and return ticket ready. The officer will stamp your passport and let you through. The whole process usually takes 15-30 minutes.
