Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
eVisa application
Singapore eVisa
Apply for a Singapore eVisa through the official Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) portal. Processing takes 3–5 working days, and the visa is typically valid for 63 days from issue date. Have your passport details, flight itinerary, and a recent passport photo ready when applying.Apply for eVisaRequired
Valid passport
Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond departure
Singapore strictly enforces the 6-month passport validity rule. Airlines check this at check-in — if your passport expires before that window, you will be denied boarding. Carry a photocopy of your passport bio page as backup.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of onward travel
Immigration officers at Changi Airport routinely ask for a confirmed onward ticket out of Singapore. This can be a return flight to Morocco or a ticket to a third country. A printed copy or a screenshot on your phone works fine.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or host invitation
Have a confirmed hotel reservation or a letter of invitation from your host in Singapore. Immigration may ask for this at the counter, especially if you are staying for more than a few days. A printed booking confirmation or a digital copy on your phone is sufficient.Recommended
Proof of funds
Sufficient cash or bank statement
Carry at least SGD 1,000 (or equivalent in USD/EUR) in cash or have a bank statement showing available funds. Immigration officers rarely ask for this, but it is a formal requirement. A credit card with a high limit also works as proof.Recommended
eVisa required — no exceptions
Moroccan passport holders cannot enter Singapore without an approved eVisa. There is no visa on arrival or visa waiver. Apply well in advance.
Passport validity counts from entry date
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the day you arrive in Singapore, not from when you leave. Check your passport's expiry date before applying.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the official Singapore eVisa portal or use an authorized agent. Fill in your personal details, passport info, and travel plans. Upload a digital passport photo and a copy of your passport bio page. Pay the fee (around SGD 30) and submit. You'll get a reference number.
2
Wait for approval
Processing takes 3–5 working days. Check your email and the portal for updates. Once approved, download and print the eVisa letter. Keep a digital copy on your phone too.
3
Prepare your documents for travel
Before you leave, gather: your passport (valid 6+ months), printed eVisa, return ticket, accommodation booking, and proof of funds. Store digital backups in your email or cloud.
4
Arrive at Singapore Changi Airport
At immigration, join the 'Foreign Visitors' queue. Hand over your passport and eVisa letter. The officer may ask about your stay, return ticket, and accommodation. Answer clearly. They'll stamp your passport with a visit pass valid for up to 30 days.
