Pakistan passport holders need an eVisa to enter Indonesia in 2026. The eVisa is straightforward to obtain online before you travel, and it covers tourism, business, and transit purposes.

Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
eVisa application
Indonesia eVisa (B211A)
Apply for an Indonesia eVisa (B211A) at molina.imigrasi.go.id before you fly. The eVisa is valid for 60 days, single entry, for tourism or business. Processing takes 2–5 working days — do not book non-refundable flights until approved.Apply for eVisaRequired
Valid passport
Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond arrival
Indonesia strictly enforces the 6-month passport validity rule. If your passport expires sooner, the airline will deny boarding and immigration will refuse entry. No exceptions.Required
Return or onward ticket
Required for all foreign visitors
Immigration officers at Jakarta, Bali, and other airports routinely ask for proof of onward travel. Have a printed or digital copy of your return or onward ticket ready. Airlines also check this before issuing a boarding pass.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or host invitation letter
Immigration may ask where you are staying. Have a hotel confirmation or a letter from your host with their address and contact number. A screenshot of your booking on your phone works fine.Recommended
Proof of funds
At least USD 1,000 or equivalent
Officers can request proof you have enough money for your stay. Carry a bank statement or cash equivalent to at least USD 1,000. Credit card statements are accepted at most ports of entry.Recommended
Passport validity counts from entry date
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the day you land in Indonesia, not from your departure date. If it expires sooner, renew it before applying for the eVisa.
eVisa is not extendable
The standard eVisa for Pakistan passport holders allows a 30-day stay and cannot be extended. Plan your trip accordingly, or look into other visa options if you need more time.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for eVisa online
Go to the official Indonesian immigration website (molina.imigrasi.go.id) and fill out the eVisa application. Upload a scanned copy of your passport bio page and a recent passport-style photo. Pay the visa fee online. Processing usually takes 1-3 business days.
2
Receive eVisa approval
Once approved, you'll get an email with your eVisa approval letter. Print it out and keep a digital copy on your phone. The eVisa is valid for 90 days from issue, and you can stay up to 30 days per visit.
3
Prepare documents for departure
Before heading to the airport, gather: your passport (valid 6+ months), eVisa approval, return/onward ticket, and first night hotel booking. Keep them in your carry-on.
4
Arrive in Indonesia
At immigration in Jakarta, Bali, or other airports, present your passport and eVisa approval. The officer will stamp your passport and note your allowed stay. Keep the departure card (if given) safe.
