The process at Tribhuvan International Airport is well-organized. Just have your documents ready and expect a 10–20 minute wait during peak hours.
Cash is king at land borders
At land border crossings, only cash (USD, EUR, or GBP) is accepted for visa fees. Cards are not accepted. Bring enough cash for the visa and some local currency (NPR) for transport.
No visa needed for short stays?
