Moroccan passport holders can get a visa on arrival in Cambodia. You'll handle it at the airport or land border — no need to apply before you travel. This has been the case since 2024.

Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
Visa on arrival
Visa on arrival
Get a visa on arrival at Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, or Sihanoukville airports. Pay $30 USD in cash (bring exact change — ATMs at the airport sometimes run out). Have one passport photo ready. The process takes 10–15 minutes.Apply onlineRequired
Valid passport
Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your arrival date
Your passport must have at least 6 months of validity remaining from the day you land. Airlines check this at check-in — if your passport expires sooner, they will deny boarding. Carry a photocopy of the bio page separately.Required
Return or onward ticket
Required for visa on arrival
Immigration officers ask for proof of onward travel at the visa-on-arrival counter. Show a printed or digital ticket out of Cambodia (flight, bus, or boat). If you arrive without one, they may deny the visa on arrival.Required
Proof of accommodation
Recommended
Have your hotel booking confirmation ready — either printed or on your phone. Immigration rarely asks for it, but having it speeds things up if they do. A booking.com or Agoda confirmation works fine.Recommended
Proof of funds
Recommended
Carry at least $500 USD in cash or have a credit card with a visible balance. Immigration rarely checks this for visa-on-arrival applicants, but the rule says you must show sufficient funds for your stay.Recommended
Cash only for visa on arrival
The visa counter accepts only US dollars in cash. No credit cards, no other currencies. Bring $30–$35 in small bills. ATMs are available after you pass immigration.
Photo booth available at airports
If you forget a passport photo, don't panic. Phnom Penh and Siem Reap airports have photo booths near the visa counter. Cost is about $2–$3.

What happens at the border

1
Arrive at the airport or border
At Phnom Penh (PNH), Siem Reap (REP), or Sihanoukville (KOS) airports, follow signs to 'Visa on Arrival'. At land borders like Poipet or Bavet, look for the visa office before immigration.
2
Fill out the visa application form
Grab a form at the counter. Fill in your details — name, passport number, arrival flight, hotel address. Use black or blue ink. Keep your passport photo ready.
3
Submit and pay
Hand over your passport, the completed form, your photo, and $30 (tourist) or $35 (business). The officer will process it. Wait 5–15 minutes.
4
Collect your passport with visa
They'll call your name or hand it back. Check the visa sticker — make sure the validity dates and your name are correct. Then proceed to immigration for entry stamp.
