Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or host invitation
Immigration may ask for your hotel address during the visa on arrival application. Have your booking confirmation printed or saved on your phone.Recommended

Visa on arrival is straightforward
The process at Phnom Penh and Siem Reap airports is well-organized. Just have your documents ready and cash in hand. No need to apply online or visit an embassy.

What happens at the border

Arrive at Phnom Penh or Siem Reap airport
After deplaning, follow signs to 'Visa on Arrival' or 'Immigration'. You'll see a counter before the main passport control line.
2
Fill out the application form
Grab a visa application form from the counter. Fill it out in capital letters — name, passport number, flight details, hotel address.

Hand over your passport, completed form, photo, and $30 cash. The officer will process it — usually takes 5–10 minutes.
4
Receive your visa and proceed to passport control
