Fill out the arrival form
On the plane or at the airport, grab a 'Visa on Arrival' form. Fill in your details, passport info, and accommodation. Keep it neat — errors cause delays.

Queue at the visa counter
At Tribhuvan International Airport, head to the 'Visa on Arrival' counter after baggage claim. There are separate queues for different visa durations (15, 30, 90 days). Show your form, passport, and photos.

Pay the fee
Pay in cash (USD, EUR, or NPR). As of 2026, a 15-day visa costs $30, 30-day $50, 90-day $125. You get a receipt — keep it.

Get your visa sticker
The officer will paste the visa sticker into your passport and stamp it. Double-check the dates before walking away.

Proceed to immigration
Hand over your passport with the new visa sticker to the immigration officer. They'll scan it and wave you through. That's it — you're in.
